(July 16, 2019, 5:34 pm)Beware of road! I didn’t get photos of the bad areas, but theres a chance of bottoming out in some spots. Not suggested for 2wheel drive or low sedans. Definitely wasn’t sure if I was going to get back down on account of clutch and scraping underneath. You can see that I have a 2002 outback Impreza and I made it by the grace if god ???? BUT it was so worth it!! Nobody was around, and there were plenty of options available. I didn’t drive up further but I know there were more camping spots down the road.
It was all free. There were about three other fire areas just within the backgrounds of this site we were at.
Lots of beautiful lush forest everywhere for strolling around. No problems with animals. Definitely a favorite!
