  Hello , this actually Mike Walter, Owner Aspen Park Tire & Auto. Concerning the post below by John he seems to have left out some real important facts.
  1. John did not bring the vehicle in, a tow truck did per Johns SON INSTRUCTIONS.
  
  2. Johns son not John was our point of contact while we were in possession of the vehicle
  
  3. Johns son called me before trhe vehicle got towed to the my shop and told me 5 different times over the phone to pull the engine because it was under warranty. He did not say what the problem was just to pull it, again he told me this 4 different times during the phone conversation.
  
  4. John son called back later and told one of my employees that his dad said to do a compression test first BEFORE WE PULLED THE ENGINE
  .At this time he never said not to pull the engine at this time
  
  5. We did the compression test and then pulled the engine approx 24 hours before Johns son told my new Hire Diane not to pull the engine
  
  6. I told Diane later we would not charge him to pull the engine even though we were not at fault
  
  7. Johns son was extremeley difficult to get hold of during this whole unfortunate ordeal
  
  8. John to my knowledge nver contacted my shop until just recently
  
  9, My employees mistakenly thought John Sons engine was a core engine and dismantled it, this was our fault and i own the business so I take the blame
  
  10. Whike we were waiting for John son once again to return our emails and voice messages I noticed the engine had the wrong pistons in it, I emailed Johns son and apologized for what had taken place and explained to him that the engine had the wrong pistons, he never responded
  
  11. approx 3 weeks later Johns son had the vehilce along with all the engine parts towed off my lot
  
  12. We still had not heard a word from John up to this point
  
  13. Approx 2 weeks after it was towed I was working on the shop pressure washer out in the back of the building when John and his son assaulted me
  
  14. By assualt, I mean the criminal defintion, verbal threats. John made sure to get approx 16 inches from the front of my face and tell me " i will tear this place down with my bear hands" , i replied, No you won, this is my place of businees, meanwhile his son was pacing back and forth in the parking lot yelling obscene gestures at me as is father continued the verbal assault.
  The problem they didnt seem to under stand that I am not a small man by any means and they were, lets just say a little on the lean side, but that didnt stop them and the verbal tirade which by the way was caught on channels 8 and 10 of my security system. they apparently thought i was running some type of CHOP SHOP, LOL.
  
  15. Once i apologized with w rather stern voice they calmed down a bit, the whole thing reminded me of a comedy sketch on Saturday night live back in the early 80's with Belushi and Ackroyd playing Jon and his son, Pretty darn Hilarious it was but it was also an assault on my business.
  
  In conclusion, while I have not contacted the local authorities to press charges for assault , after reading the post by John i think it is something I should consider.
  So you folks out there can probably guess why I refused to work on Johns sons engine. John i will gladly accept your challenge in a court of law, gladly.
  
  Actually i will accept any challenge you can muster up their tough guy.
  
  I apologize for that last comment, it was very unproffessional of me

  Great service and freindly. Reasonable prices. Plus sometimes they even have a car they can loan you while yours is being worked on.
