Chimney Gulch Trail

Beautiful area overlooking Golden, CO and the entire front range. From the top you can see all the way to downtown Denver. Great spot to take beautiful pictures of both the sunrise and sunsets. Beware of the park rangers, they can be a little rude and make up rules. They say you can't fly drones here, which isn't true. This is a public space that is unpopulated.

Was originally trying to hike Lookout Mountain Trail butt the all trails app took me to chimney Gulch Trail. I'm not sure if that was correct or not as it was my first time doing this but all in all it was a good hike. Had to turn around early because wind started to pick up along with snow flurries

Found this place while getting lost on purpose. Great find. If you love driving super winding roads and spectacular views, then this place is for you. Loved it. Theres a few places to stop and park along the road to take in the views. Some spots even have some hiking trails.

This was a medium level 1.5 mile hiking. There is a couple parking spaces at the start but it was hard to tell if you could park there. It was a little challenging but it had some good views throughout and at the top. There were a lot of bikers so it must be a good bike ride as well as a hike. Recommended!

Moderately difficult trail. Fantastic views. Bring plenty of water as a good portion of the trail is in the sun.
