Ben knows his stuff, and is committed to getting the job of your custom-adventure done, safely.
We had Thomas as our guide over at Flatiron in Boulder and had the most awesome experience! Easy to get along with, super knowledgeable, and patient with us. Would 100% recommend!
My girlfriend and I just finished a climbing tour on the third flatiron and it was unforgettable! My girlfriend has never been climbing and I had never been climbing with ropes. Right when we began climbing we thought we were way out of our skill level, but our guide kept us calm and showed us what we were truly capable of. Ben was very personal, funny, and most of all very professional and experienced. I've gained much respect for climbers, climbing is beautifully terrifying! But, we will be back!
I've worked with a handful of other front range climbing guides and can definitely say that Golden Mountain Guides is the BEST. From my first day of climbing ever to advancing my sport lead skills, I've worked with Golden Mountain Guides several times and am always thrilled with the experience and the results. Guides are professional, safety-oriented, skilled, and pleasant - overall, highly recommended!
Had a GREAT time with Golden Mountain Guides and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This was my first time mountain climbing and I had an amazing experience. Which is exactly what mountain climbing should be - an experience!
My instructor, Ben, was super friendly, personable, excellent at understanding my experience level, as well as the mountain climbing adventure I was up for. Ben was very encouraging, supportive and understanding of my skills and needs as a new climber.
Would highly recommend for a first timer, someone looking to build up their skill level or an out of towner looking for a local who knows there way around the Front Range.
You can’t go wrong with Golden Mountain Guides!
