  Neat historic Stone building in the forest. Went for a good Friend's Wedding and had a great time.

  It's a fantastic Venue a short distance into the mountains from Golden. We setup/attended a Wedding here. Mark from the Parks & Rec was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the location during our setup. I can't remember the ladies name that kept a watch during the event and even helped us try to clear out with limited staff (we aren't pros and you know how weddings go). The couple was planning to have 70+ people and the venue could easily support an event larger. There is not a full featured kitchen (there's a larger cooler, small deep well sink, and I think there used to be cooking provisions), but if the meals are prepped or catered and traffic is directed as intended, this venue would be fantastic for an event that required such amenities. Tables, chairs, and even a portable bar is inside of this amazing historic place! I do believe that WiFi may be available also.

  It's a cozy place for small weddings. The layout inside is nice, but the outside veranda is key. There was a taco bar. A taco bar. It was beautiful. There's an easily accessible out back area for smokers. Scenery is beautiful. Staff was friendly.
  EDIT: I'm bumping this to 5 stars after talking to the couple the day after. The manager was amazing to them. He was flexible and always there for them. Advice - Don't use Siri, follow the signs or Google maps. Siri kept having us go down dirt roads, Google maps had it perfect and the signs are clear

  We were present for a wedding. The staff was incredibly nice, the view was perfect. Couldn't have been a better location for a small intimate wedding!

  Very nice little lodge. Well run and clean. Not too far from Denver. My only complaint would be I70 is pretty close so when you are outside the venue there is a decent amount of noise pollution. Other than that it is a very beautiful spot and a nice venue.

We love Chief Hosa Lodge. Our son got married here in August 2014. The wedding was outside in a little meadow above the lodge. The patio and the wonderful old lodge were perfect for the reception.
