Great hiking spot. It's gotten more crowded the past few years but it's beautiful.
Lots of snow and ice make Bruin Bluff Trail more treacherous than normal, but Lair remains a family and beginner friendly park. It features a variety of settings, from gently-rolling streams and level paths to a few mildly-rugged spots and nice mountain views. Plenty of picnic spots along its 4 miles of trails. One of the popular Jeffco parks to bring dogs.
Pretty easy loop that didn't have a lot people on it, especially for a Saturday evening. Doggo loved the stream and field parts. Great short hike and easy to find! Plus you get to drive through a couple cute towns if you're coming from Denver.
Absolutely gorgeous! Very peaceful even when busy. Almost no spots for cars yet plenty of open places to walk & play in the water with a dog!
Bigger (7 mile) long trail we didn't know about; we will be back for it next year!
