Meadowsweet Midwifery

I don't know that I could leave a review that would appropriately communicate how wonderful my experience with Meadowsweet Midwifery was. As a first time Mom, I had so many questions, anxieties, hopes, and fears around pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and Melissa and Sam provided such empowering support through all of it. I received so much attention and access from them, never once feeling rushed or like I was a nuisance for having my many questions. They took the time to hold my entire experience with me from nutrition to mental health to, obviously, physical health, and with their care I welcomed my sweet baby boy into the world! I have recommended them to everyone I meet who is pregnant and looking for a wonderful provider, and will absolutely seek them out in future pregnancies!

I’m so thankful for Melissa and Samantha! I learned so much from them through my pregnancy with my son and they helped me feel so confident going into my labor and delivery. Even though I was unable to have the homebirth I was hoping for, these ladies helped support me and cheer me on to having a successful VBAC! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful, thoughtful and caring midwife.

Melissa and Samantha are awesome! They are professional and experienced to handle all situations. Melissa has delivered all 4 of my babies at home. I totally trust her to make the right decisions and recommendations for anything that comes up during my births. She’s gentle and loving and also bosses me around when I need it ha! Thankful we found her!

As a doctor, I have specific knowledge about certain parts of the body, and various situations. However, birth is not my specialty. That said, Melissa and Sam were amazing to work with during our birth. They were calm, collected, and very knowledgeable. Excellent bed-side manner and a pleasure to work with. This was our second home-birth and first with Meadowsweet Midwifery. It was the best birth by far and Melissa, Sam, and my wife deserve all the credit. :)

Choosing meadowsweet midwifery was one of the best choices I have made. I had both my daughters with them and the care and experience with both was wonderful. I felt completely supported and safe and will absolutely go back to them if I have a third. I feel like my time with meadowsweet midwifery encapsulates the joy and wonderful experience that pregnancy and birth is suppose to. I never felt rushed, or like I was an inconvenience, and I was able to have absolute trust in my care providers which was such a blessing. I would absolutely (and have) recommend them to any pregnant mama. Best midwives ever!!!!
