This was so much fun! Wendy, who has worked there for ten years, was great! She loves what she does and it shows. It's not a large place just now because they recently have moved to this location. It's easy to find and there is plenty of parking.
Now for the Dollhouses!!! They are just beautiful ❤️. The attention to detail goes way beyond anything I have seen in a very long time. I loved the Santa Fe style ones the most. They had a Southwest style jewelry one, that I wished I was smaller than my already 4'6" hight, so I could have purchased many of their items. They were done to perfection.
I have a friend Jenna who has a dollhouse and also builds just miniature rooms. I was wishing she was with me but she lives back east. I helped my Mother with her dollhouse when she was in her sixties and I had forgotten just how much fun we had. It all came rushing back to me while visiting this Museum. Young or old I feel everyone will see something to delight them. Wait until you see the Teddy Bear family! Stay safe, thank you!
I just started taking miniature class from this place and it is a wonderful experience. They are very good about safety measures but more over it's a wonderful break from the monotony of regular life. Adventuring into a little world of wonder and imagination.
An unexpected treasure! Several hand made doll houses, miniatures, and classic toys! Stop by and let the friendly staff show you around!
Treated my mother to the museum of miniature dolls and toys. She loved it! Now she's inspired to create her own miniature doll house.
Small, single room exhibit, of elaborate and historical doll houses and miniature figures. Much of the handcrafted work is really astonishing. Definitely worth the modest price of admission to take a 20-30 minute look around.
