(December 19, 2017, 9:01 am)I am severely lactose intolerant. The smallest amount of dairy will trigger painful IBS symptoms. But, I do like a coffee treat now and then. I was using the drive thru for my order. The creme brulee latte (a special flavor for the holidays) looked tasty, so I placed my order, specifying soy milk and no whip, but then commented, "unless you have some dairy free whip cream." A second voice popped in on the speaker, and informed me that the creme brulee flavoring isn't just a flavored syrup like most other flavors, but contains milk powder in it, and suggested a few holiday syrups as alternatives. I ended up with a very tasty chestnut praline soy latte and no digestive issues. I was very satisfied.
