Red Rocks Church Lakewood Campus

  Pros: Red Rocks church is incredible at attracting talent. The band is always great, and all the speakers I've heard have been on point and excellent communicators. For doing a remote service, the whole thing is done seamlessely - it's impressive how well all the different aspects of the volunteers and staff work together. They are also transparent regarding finances and core beliefs.
  
  Cons: While the sermons are good, I did not feel challenged in my faith. I think Red Rocks is geared toward new believers - lots of the messages seemed to be more of a motivational speech instead of something studying the word of God. Red Rocks is huge and it can be difficult to integrate into. There were a couple moments where the messages took a striking political tone - I know there's a large overlap but it left a bad taste in my mouth. The parking is a nightmare.
  
  Noteworthy: Red Rocks seems to want to project more of a hip vibe. Lots of expensive fashion choices if you're paying attention. Sometimes a concert-y feel to the worship and the messages do follow a general template. I found it difficult to look past, because their teaching is grounded and if you look on their website there's a detailed page regarding their beliefs and corresponding scriptural basis.

  I do have to say though, I was here for a women’s conference, and was severely taken back by the choice of intermission music. For sure secular. Would have enjoyed more worship music or at least Christian in the intermissions! Let’s be in the world but not of it!
  Staff was friendly and inviting. Was a good experience for my first time there

  We love this church! It took me a while to get used to the services being recorded because it feels strange saying “amen” to a screen lol but it’s not so bad now. I would prefer to hear a live service and I think it would be amazing if each campus pastor could each give their own message on a unified topic. The music here is amazing and I always leave feeling refreshed hearing the word of God!

  This is the best church I have ever been to. It is the first church I have ever been to where I don't feel bored. Every single service I feel like they are preaching right to me. I always connect with the message and I am always moved by their words. It truly is an amazing community of people. The band is always live and they are AWESOME! Here at the Lakewood campus the message is usually never live, its on a big screen but I still love it so much, and it makes it that much more exciting when they do come preach live. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
