(January 30, 2019, 11:49 am)Have been hiking at Green Mountain Park for dozens of years. It is consistently one of the hiking areas that I recommend for its Goldilocks' type hiking (i.e., not too easy, not too hard) and vistas of the Denver metro area. It has a longer season than other hiking areas in that the snow accumulates and then melts quickly, the mud disappears and therefore it doesn't have a true "mud" season, like hikes deeper into the mountains. As a hiker, you do have to stay alert because there still are a minority of mountain bikers that do not control their cycles (being headphoned up not a good idea!).

(December 25, 2018, 6:31 pm)I've been coming here for years! It has great, easy hikes! I haven't really come across anything truly difficult here, but it is very scenic! Great view of hogsback & red rocks amphitheater off of the John O. Trail! Pup approved as well ????????

(December 2, 2018, 2:30 pm)It has wonderful views of Denver and the mountains. You can see beyond the foothills to the snow capped mountains. There are great mountain biking and hiking paths here which can also connect you to the hog back.
