  My Jack Russell Terrier, Dixie, has been going to this vet for 5 years now. We've been going there every 6 weeks for about a year now for routine nail trims, among other things. A few weeks ago, she needed extensive dental work done (which I had never heard of for animals) but the amazing staff helped us along the way and provided free wet food samples, as she was put on a wet food only diet while her mouth healed. More recently, Dixie decided she'd get into some chocolate-raisin granola bars and required an overnight stay. Again, the staff was amazing and, by now, know Dixie by name and treat her as though she is a part of their family. We also love that they are also an animal hospital, so even when things occur outside of normal business hours, we can bring her to a place that is familiar to her. We have and will continue to highly recommend Columbine Animal Hospital ❤

  I had a hard time getting anyone to crop our dobermans ears. Many vets were rude about even asking, but its breed standard and a requirement to show your doberman .They did a fantastic job! VERY friendly and kind. They only thing I could say that might be a negative is that they are pricey, but we are staying because we really appreciate how they handled our ear crop!

  I brought my cat in for a blockage and it turns out that there was some serious issues causing the blockage that they weren’t entirely sure how he would do or what his recovery would look like. They did everything they could, and I’m happy to say that I have my boy home and doing so much better. The entire staff cared so much about my little guy, that when I came to bring him home they celebrated with me. Dr Lee was absolutely amazing, he was honest with me while still respecting my space in making my decision on how to proceed. This is my second animal bringing to them in crisis, and both times the level of care, attention and empathy has been extraordinary. I love that my little guy was taken care of by people who actually cared about him and fought to bring him home to me. Words can’t express how grateful I am for this vet and the whole staff. Because of them, both cats who were in very bad conditions going in are both home and happy.

  Great animal hospital for veterinary services. I wouldn’t recommend them for boarding. Both dogs came home with a decent amount of weight lost, a large bag of unused food when only enough food was given for their stay, and one of our dogs had a broken nail.
