Kirk and Dave treated our family with not only the utmost professionalism, but also with warmth and compassion that so comforted us in our grief. They are extremely ethical and helped us smooth out some obstacles we ran up against with ease and poise. They come most highly recommended by our family.
I highly recommend Ellis. A coworker recommended this place to my wife and my family had a lot of time to research other funeral homes. Ellis was in a different league than other local funeral homes.
Kirk and Dave are very honest, warm and compassionate people. They don't pressure you with sales and they helped me and my family plan a wonderful service for our mother. They also recommended a good chaplain and have plenty of room for larger groups.
Also, I would recommend their tribute DVD. They put together an awesome tribute To our mom with music and photographs of our family. Now I have a great DVD to watch when I want to reminisce.
We looked at about 4 funeral homes in the Denver metro area and they were by far the best.
As far as having to use a service like this, I found it comfortable with no pressure. I got the recommendation from the hospice staff so felt they knew what they were talking about. I was so surprised at how easy Ellis made this experience. Every one of the staff knew what they were doing and that was great especially since I didn't. Almost two years later I think about these most kind and professional people.
Impossible to write in words the care and concern we received from the owners and staff at Ellis. If I didn't know better I would have thought we were all "immediate family". Everything was taken care of in a timely manner and we had no concerns about any of the details. Our service ran like a "fine tuned watch". All of the feedback I have received was that this was an beautiful, exquisite service. I cannot explain how grateful we are to Ellis Family Services for all of their love and support during our time of need.
