This place was the best time I've ever had!!
It isn't at all what I'd think of when I think botanical gardens... It was the dead of winter, freezing, dark and the staff was less than friendly... That being said, this place felt magical!! Surely nothing special about it during the day, but when the sun goes down it shows it's real colors!!
Good experience. We visited during the holidays when the Christmas show was the main event. It was pretty cold, but, we enjoyed the light show. We even got to see some reindeer. We had a nice time. I would definitely take the family to this event again.
This is a gem of a place to visit. The gardens are breathtaking! There is also a butterfly house for children of all ages. They have a children's play area, a working farm and plenty of walking trails through the gardens. They have activities all year long including a corn maze, pumpkin festival and a trail of lights through the holidays. Also, if you like to camp, there is camping at nearby Chatfield State Park. The park has a big lake with boat rental and swim beach for other activities to do during the day.
This is where my husband and I got married. It was so beautiful. The staff was so helpful in getting everything ready. Really a very wonderful place. They have a corn maze in the fall every year and beautiful lights up for Christmas too. We go every year.
This place is absolutely fabulous! The staff there was so wonderful and kind; they where always willing to help. Their Christmas event (which I went to,) was very well put together and there where plenty of activities for kids, and beautiful Christmas lights for everyone. My family and I will definitely be going back to Botanic Gardens, and I can't wait! To sum it up, I would recommend the Denver Botanic Gardens, Chatfield Farms for families and individuals alike. Thanks for the great time Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms!
