DORAL ACADEMY OF COLORADO

I went to Doral Academy for 6th-8th grade, and I can't even express how great of an opportunity it was for me. The teachers are all amazing and kind, and by the end of my time at Doral our whole class felt like one big family. The arts integration aspect of it helped me to understand our material better, and has me well prepared in highschool so far. The teachers are inspiring; they taught me to believe in myself and helped me find out what my interests were. And the range of electives was superb, I was able to take Dance Classes, Arts classes, Creative Writing Classes, and even a Dungeons and Dragons Campaign Writing Elective! Not to mention the Clubs that they hold after school (Some of which are Student-Lead!) I was able to participate in Dungeons and Dragons, NJHS, and a Yearbook Club. I made a ton of friends at Doral, I'm so thankful that I went there for middle school. Five Star Review for me!!!

We needed a school that would teach everything in various ways vs take notes and memorize. Doral has done this and we love it. Four children are all doing well socially and with their learning.

Never have I felt such apart of a community as I do with Doral Academy of Colorado. The concept of this learning environment has made such a difference in all three of our kids. So much so that our eldest who ventured on this semester is AHEAD of her new class! This school has and continues to take any obstacle and grow from them, they looksl at every angle of any situation and I know and believe that they have every child's best interest. From the front desk to maintenence everyone is there for your family. And with that comes this unbelievable bond. That I know if my son is having a bad day his teachers will support him, reach out to me and we can work together. The communication has helped us keep on top of grades and behaviors and lastly, the administration.
These administers at Doral give their all. They are always first ones there and last ones leaving any day of the week. They take the time to connect and in a fast digital world- nothing beats that kind of connection.

This school is the best I've had my daughter in. I love how much they keep you informed on what is happening, they have an app that they use to keep in touch ( which they do a great job of), they make it easy to volunteer , and so much more. The after school clubs are awesome, none of my other daughter's schools offered so much variety. The uniforms are a blessing and they offer lots of dress down days too. So far we have been really excited to be a part of this school ! We even had our daughter in one of the best elementary schools in the state ( Elk Creek ) , and we feel at Doral they are much more interactive, keep you up to date, and have more going on for the kids. Love the creative outlets they give the kids !
