One of the most beautiful landscapes in Colorado! Stanley Lake is surrounded with Rocky Mountain Front Range Beauty, with trails to hike in multiple directions, for both humans and horses. The park closes at sunset, and watching sunsets from this Vista is Spectacular!
Always clean, frozen over perfect for a long dog walk!
Beautiful scenery and loved seeing the prairie dogs! Great walking trails as well.
Fun local park. Nice trails and beautiful views. Bald eagle nests on the north side with new trails east of there too. Always gorgeous and a bit windy. We love to pop in for a quick walk whenever we get a chance.
We love walking around Standley Lake. Great views and nice wide paths. There's usually not a ton of people around so it is quite and peaceful. The water has been getting pretty low in the fall so there is more of a beach to walk on which can be pretty fun. They close the gates to the parking lot at dusk so you need to make sure to have your car out of there before then. They usually have a park ranger on a megaphone letting people know though as a reminder.
