They have helped me feel safe at my work
We just bought a new house in wheatridge near crown lake. We have been cleaning and slowly moving in furniture, but are not sleeping there yet. Someone broke in last night, took a both and slept on the couch. Smoked inside, in fairness I did not put up a no smoking sign. We noticed our front door glass had been broken, our garage passage for open and every light in the house was on. Called 911 and did not enter. The 911 operator was very efficient and kind. Officer R. Miller got there in less than 10 minutes, took our statement and informed us she was waiting for back up to secure the location. Back up came in another 10 minutes. They took it seriously. Put on gloves so they could dust for dinner prints before entering. They checked every room, including the crawl space, because it had been opened. Thankfully, nothing was takin. Some broken glass, a dirty bath tub from the guest bathing a cigarette but, and some gas station sandwich in the fridge.
They dusted for prints, sound credit cards and ID left in the bathroom all matching identity and took pictures. I was very pleased with their attitude and professionalism.
