Jennifer is a wonderful PT and very caring and concerned with her patients. She took a lot of time with me to make sure I was educated and could continue with my therapy when I was home, or down the road. She was flexible and always helped fit me in last minute when needed. I highly recommend her!
Affordable and (more importantly) effective. Jennifer is a natural healer, and a Duke graduate (she’s credentialed). I first visited Jennifer for help with shoulder pain in my mid life. She was so effective in helping me heal and giving me advice for how to remain uninjured. She also started working on my lower back which has chronically been a source of pain and angst since I was in my 20s. I am pleased to say that her regular physical therapy and exercise techniques that she has taught me have kept my back strong and in place for over two years. I highly recommend Jennifer.
I came to see Jennifer at Sagewood after Thoracic Outlet Syndrome surgery and have had a very good experience. Jennifer is very caring, knowledgeable, and works very hard to help get me back on my feet.
Prior to my surgery, she took the time to meet with me to help set expectations of my recovery and give me a preview of the work we would be doing together. I was extremely nervous about the surgery, as it was not only my first surgery ever...but also a very complicated and unique surgery that not many therapists are well-versed with. Jennifer answered all of my questions, and I was able to go into the surgery eyes wide open and feeling empowered.
After my surgery, I had a couple of normal recovery setbacks which resulted in me being in a lot of physical pain. Jennifer always quickly responded to my calls/texts with suggestions of how to manage the pain I was experiencing until our next session or she would make time for me to come in immediately. Note - when I called the surgical office about my pain, they never returned my calls but Jennifer did. This is the type of caregiver she is, and I am incredibly grateful for her, as I can't imagine going through all this with a different therapist.
I highly recommend Jennifer at Sagewood. She cares about her patients and their well-being.
Jennifer is a miracle worker ! I was referred to Sagewood by a local NP , have used her for my neck strains for over 5 years and and have been sending my Division 1 bound athlete to her for sports recovery. Jennifer is SO good that even though my insurance (kaiser) doesn't cover it I'm willing to pay out of pocket and we drive 30 minutes across town. She is THAT worth it. She uses so many different techniques and is truly a miracle worker who is invested 100% into our wellness!
I started as a patient of Jennifer's for shoulder issues that I developed from Olympic Weightlifting. Not only did Jennifer ease my shoulder pain, but she helped me learn new movement patterns to strengthen my shoulder so that I could continue my sport!
I have been to many other outpatient clinics in the past, and I was always dissatisfied because I felt like the PT did not have enough time to spend with me as a patient. I really liked that Jennifer spent a full hour of her time with me, and even allowed me to text her for advice following my appointments.
Jennifer will take the time to make sure you are healthy and well while providing a personal touch and showing she truly cares about her patients as individuals.
Her office is private and comfortable - I can't recommend this clinic enough!
