I've trained in three other martial arts (CYO boxing, SanSoo, LimaLama) and can say without reservation that Ki Aikido is far more practical in daily life than any other style I've every practiced. Ki Aikido trains the body and mind to manage conflict of all kinds and not necessarily with a throw and pin. MMA, BJ, KravMaga, and MCMAP are great for what they do but they are on the different end of the martial arts spectrum than Ki Aikido. Think sports car, minivan and off-road vehicle, you simply can't compare them as they specialize in different things.”

“Brian came and cleaned all the carpets on our main floor and the stairs. It hadn’t been done in at least 4 years and had plenty of dog and kid accidents to deal with. He was very thorough and quick and promised to come back if anything didn’t come out well. I didn’t think much of that but then I noticed one spot that seemed new - was just where a cord sat while the carpet was wet. They were super responsive and came back out within 48 hours and cleaned it all up. They even took another stab at a high-traffic spot to see if they could make it better. Definitely recommend them!”

Not only did they rip out a perfect post from the piece, they even smoothed it out and made it beautiful. “First of all I wanted to say how amazing it was to find a place that offers a short term lease at a reasonable rate. There was a fire at the house we were set to move into the following month; the repairs to make the house habitable are extensive and may take 3 or more months. The lease at our current house is set to end in 8 days, leaving us in a very bad situation and we needed to find short term housing at the last minute. We searched and searched to find any place that offered a short term or month to month lease, which is in itself very difficult. But to find an affordable option on top of that was impossible. We were so happy an relieved to find Griffis offered a 4 month lease at a very reasonable price. The leasing agent Sergio that showed the unit was very professional and personable from the beginning. He was thorough and explained the each phase of the rental process so we never had any questions. After we submitted our application the process was very quick. However, we did run into an issue where we were not sure if we were going to get approved for the lease. After we spoke with Sergio about the situation we thought were going to have to go back to searching. But he went out of his way to ensure we were in fact approved for the lease. This is above and beyond good customer service, and we definitely cant thank him enough for going the extra mile. We were so impressed and grateful that he would do that for us, when he really didn't have to. These days is not often you find people that are proficient at their job, but to find someone that exceeds your expectations is almost unheard of. We hope that the folks at Griffis know what an great employee they have. Thank you Sergio!”
