“A nice little musuem that warrants a once or twice go to. Knowledgeable staff that take you through a VERY interactive and kid friendly tour of fossils of dinosaurs and foot prints. Also, allows the opportunity for you to "help" uncover a fossil. Enjoyed the mixture of current alive non-extinct animals such as turtles and snakes. Overall, great small trip to do when looking for indoor places to explore on a sleepy weekend.”

“The castle trail is a steep point to point trail that is heavily trafficked by both hikers and mountain bikers. With great views of the Denver metro area and out to the plains, combined with its close proximity to Denver it's no surprise that this is a very popular trail. A majority of the trail is exposed with little tree cover so the use of sunscreen and a hat is advised. The trail is commonly hiked from the East parking lot heading west bound to the castle ruins at the summit. This is particularly true of mountain bikers. Once you reach the upper park loop there are several other shorter hikes available that could easily be combined to turn this hike into a day long adventure.”

“Mount Falcon Park was an absolute blast today! That's a little over 6 miles round trip and is easily accomplished shable in 3 hours. If you're really fast you can get it taken care of in an hour and a half to two hours but enjoyably it's about 3 hours. When we started this morning at 7:30 it was pretty windy but as today finished the parking lot was full. It was easily 45 to 50 degrees out. Perfect gay, perfect view, not far from the city. 20 to 30 minutes depending on where you live. It is definitely a hike worth checking out if you want something simple and you can still get through the rest of your day”
