The Stanley Hotel

We visit the Stanley Hotel every time we come to Estes Park! My husband and I love having drinks on the front patio, in the bar inside or out in the back patio by one of the fires. The whole place has so much character and the mountain views are gorgeous! Get a drink at Sunset if you can and definitely walk the beautiful grounds to take in all the sites. This is a great place to bring friends and family who are visiting Colorado!

The Stanley hotel and staff were amazing! My niece and I had been planning to attend the Shining Ball when she turned 21 since she was 16. She is a huge fan! Well do to some booking errors in our end, we almost missed it! The Stanley took care of everything and we got to go! We had the best time! My niece dresses like Ursula and everyone loved her and wanted to take her picture. It was amazing! Thank you so much for making it work out for us!

I was at the Stanley this past weekend for the day tour. If you come for a tour here try to book with Ryan, he was the best! He was funny, informative and you could tell he loves being there. We didn’t see any spirits but you could definitely feel some kind of presence, I had chills the whole time! I loved getting to know the history and the place was absolutely beautiful! I will definitely be back again, this time for a night tour and maybe an overnight stay!

Not only was I excited to be here for the night tour, but I was here on my honeymoon with my new wife. We had such a great time and our tour guide was absolutely amazing. Thank you Franky for being so knowledgeable and fun to listen to. If we could have done a video legally, we would have. You were awesome! Fantastic Job!!!

Lots of history at this grand 100 year old hotel in Estes Park. We stayed in one of the "haunted rooms", but sorry no beings were present that night. The room was nice, but a bit overpriced. Bed was very comfortable. Take a hotel tour or visit the gift shop. But they do charge $10 to park if you are not staying at the hotel. You could park at the Safeway and walk through an empty lot behind the Safeway and take a pink colored path to avoid the parking charge. Walk to the hotel with the gold dome on top. That is the original hotel. A beautiful Stanley Steamer auto is in the lobby along with a grand staircase, a restaurant is also inside toward the left side as you walk in for a nice b, l, or dinner, you might need a reservation, or wait about 20 min. Gift shop on the right side as you walk in. Upper floors are for guests only, but you can visit downstairs and the grounds are quite nice. The tours of the hotel are also reserved there. Sometimes you will see elk on the beautiful grounds. You will not be disappointed to visit or stay the night here.
