(September 19, 2019, 9:16 pm)A very nice campground in RMNP but I don’t particularly like the lack of privacy and how few trees there are. You feel pretty stacked on top of each other at this location. But a beautiful campground none the less with great views and clean facilities.

(September 10, 2019, 10:50 pm)Absolutely stunning campground with solid facilities. We will definitely be back. The campground is in the middle of a valley rimmed by mountains. Not a ton of tree cover (or any) in the group campsites. Bathrooms were well stocked our whole stay and the park rangers were super friendly and helpful.

(September 9, 2019, 2:29 pm)This place was clean. They have nice restrooms with air dryers (very loud) but no showers. There are trees at some of the sites so I would suggest looking at a map and figuring out which will give the best shade. There is a lady that comes by to sell firewood for approx $5/bundle. Bear lockers are shared with 3 other campsites. Overall one of the best, plus the woman at the check in booth was very informative and friendly. This campground is right beside the park and ride shuttle for Bear lake which was convenient. Be sure to book and plan in advance - they do sell out.

(September 7, 2019, 8:52 pm)A little bit rocky where we stayed, but good facilities and a bear box for your food at each camp site. No showers, except if you bring a solar water heater. They a place to hang your water bag and shower. The camp ground is close to lots of trails and is convenient to get in and out. Also close to park bus transportation.

(August 4, 2019, 10:33 am)Very nice campground with comfort stations and incredible views. Short distance to award winning hiking and we had wildlife walk through our site daily. Wild turkey and deer! Great stay!
