Solitude Cabins

We loved our stay at Solitude Cabins!! The cabins were very clean and well equipped. The decorating in our cabin was so fun and really added to the mountain atmosphere. The location is peaceful and beautiful with a few elk roaming past the window. This is where we will stay on our next trip to Estes Park.

Bringing a party of three or more to Estes? This is your best lodging option. You're close enough to town to walk, but far enough away to find herds of elk out your window. Plus the cabins are cozy, warm, and well apportioned with everything you need but food and drink. Totally worth it

We hold our writing retreat here every year. I first discovered Solitude Cabins in 2012 when my family went to Estes for Thanksgiving. We returned in 2015 when I got married and Solitude Cabins was my family's home base. Now every year, my colleagues and I meet in the same cabin and write together for five magical days.

Solitude Cabins is perfect. Their cabins are wonderful and warm, the elk come right up to the windows, the views are spectacular, and the location is remote but only like a minute's drive from downtown. It's paradise.

Solitude Cabins are awesome! It was the best experience. I got married at Rocky Mountain National Park and my entire wedding party stayed at the cabins. We also had my reception at the pavilion there. When they found out we were getting married, they helped my bridesmaids with decorating for the reception and even gave us linens to use at no extra cost. I highly recommend this place.
