  We love it here!???? We caught 4 fish in the lake on our last day there. The views are incredible, the hosts are so nice, and the facilities are beyond expectations. This is a great getaway for families, or couples of all ages.

  We just got home from a week at East Portal campground... The cleanest & friendliest campground we have EVER stayed at. The showers were alway hot and very clean, I just can't stay enough about this place. Everyone was so pleasant & helpful. Helped us daily with our hikes & who to take the bus to the stops. Can't wait to go back!!!!!

  Excellent experience. Perfect location, close to town, and gorgeous views. The camp hosts were very friendly. The office has a nice selection of necessities. The bathrooms were very clean. The playground was a fun bonus. We will be back.

  Great campground! I spoke with most of the employees on the grounds. Every single person was very polite and informative. They have great shower/bathroom facilities. They even have a new building with new showers and toilets. We had a double site with electric and water. For 6 people there was plenty of room for us and 2 large tents. There are 2 trails leading to the mountains and 1 leading to town. The 2 trails lead into RMNP. These 2 trails will get you anywhere in the park. There is always a connecting trail. You can hike forever or until your legs get tired. Buy a National Geographic map of the park. They sell them in the camp store. The camp store prices aren't really much higher than gas station prices so no need to run into town needlessly. Great place!!!!

  The staff were friendly, helpful and kind. They made our stay more pleasant than we thought it would be, considering the weather conditions and the late time of day when we arrived. The entire campsite, including the shower houses, was well maintained and thoughtfully laid out. We appreciated the fact that the camp hosts made regular rounds through the sites and we're always ready to answer questions and give helpful advice. We will come back.
