I love sitting here waiting for wildlife. The surrounding views are beautiful to look at. Go early or later in the day for a slightly better chance at spotting wildlife.
A beautiful valley and herds of animals greet you at the Fall River entrance to the RMNP.
This is a great place to watch for sheep. Additionally there is info session led by a ranger that was interesting. Stop by on your way past to see if there are any bighorns at the salt licks, it could be any daylight hour when they appear.
I was great to see a Moose. Sorry taken by cell phone it was pretty far away. Second one we saw in 10 minutes.
This place is located inside the Rocky mountains national park. This is the first station when you go through highway 34 entrance.
You can see the perfect view from this place. You can see the mountains and this place is good to take pictures. We were going to visit Rocky mountain in this vacation. We loved this place.
You need to stop by this place. I swear you won't regret.

The Sheep Lakes Information Station is open daily in the spring and early summer from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Sheep Lakes is famous for its wildlife viewing, specifically the bighorn sheep who come down to the lake and large open meadow regularly.
