  I can not say enough good things about April. We hired April for our first birth and she was so incredibly helpful. April was available throughout my pregnancy via text or call and met with my husband and I several times to develop a birth plan, answer questions, and help support us through the pregnancy. She was an amazing support during labor- helping with positions, breathing, encouragement, and even decision making to follow our birth plan. Her expertise in labor really helped me feel like I had the best support team possible. My labor was very long but thanks to April (and my hubby) we were still able to stick to our birth plan and have a healthy, safe delivery. We couldn't have done it without her!

  I am truly honored to have had a doula to, not just help but guide me through my pregnancy as well as my post pregnancy. Being a first time, single momma everything is very much new, exciting, but also a bit anxious and common sense becomes pretty not-so-common. Having my doula, April, by my side was just an AMAZING experience, especially while in labor. She well prepared me and educated me of what to expect, with a little help of some childbirth and breastfeeding classes that she recommended me to take. Of the many incredible things, my doula helped me with a birth plan which I truly enjoyed doing with her. Since the beginning of my pregnancy I wanted my labor to me as natural and safe as it could be for my lovely baby and myself, and April helped make it possible. She provided options that better suited me and my baby with no judgment and no criticism. It was truly wonderful to have such a positive and open minded doula with plenty of personal experience. I could go on and on with sharing more details of my beautiful experience but I will leave that to be continued for the next momma! I HIGHLY recommend having a doula to help you through it all!

  April’s encouraging words both validated my fears leading up to the birth of my third baby and dispelled those fears at the same time. The experience and knowledge she shared with me empowered me to have my best birth experience yet. So grateful for April!
