The care I received from Althea (and Aubrey, too) was exceptional. Althea is so supportive, she listens to your wants and needs, and she knows what she is doing. My husband and I both felt beyond comfortable and cared for working with her and our experience was phenomenal. We both would (and do) recommend her time and time again. She is one amazing midwife and we are so thankful for her!!
I cannot say enough good things about the incredible team at Tender Gifts. Every question, concern and need I had was addressed with an expansive knowledge base, individualized care and compassion. During the birth of my daughter Althea was such a guiding light for me, I truly could not have done it without her! I highly recommend her services to anyone considering a homebirth.
My husband and I would give these ladies 10 stars out of 5 if we could! Was an absolutely wonderful experience. I had my third pregnancy with Tender Gifts and received care that was above and beyond. Althea and Aubrey are so informed and genuinely care about mom and baby. My only regret is that I didn't have my other two children with these ladies! Highly recommend to anyone!
Althea and Aubrey made the entire experience as comfortable, beautiful, and safe as possible from start to finish. As a husband and first-timer to the home birth scene, I was nervous about how things might go. Any reservations were immediately alleviated after starting to visit Althea and Audrey. I can't thank them enough for everything they did! Fantastic.
Althea & Aubrey were AMAZING! I transferred to their care halfway through my second pregnancy because my husband and I wanted a home birth. I appreciated their calmness and expertise - and we needed it. During labor, my baby's heart rate was low and at one point, EMTs came because it looked like I'd have to be transferred to the hospital. But these two amazing women used all their skills and experience to stabilize the situation and I was able to give birth at home, like we had planned. I was so grateful!! Our baby was born happy and healthy and thriving. Althea & Aubrey's hard work meant I didn't have to transfer to the hospital and could have our beautiful baby at home. I'm still so thankful for them and HIGHLY recommend them!!
