    We love this place! The creamy habanero sauce is so good. We love the sweet pork, the chicken molido, the rice--everything. Try the lime drink. It is so yummy!

    Food is really really good! Personally, I recommend the grilled steak smothered burrito with green chile (I think they call it hot or medium but it really isn’t very hot so don’t be afraid).

    Love Cafe Mex! It is one of our favorite places to eat in northern Colorado. Food is delicious, and the sizes are huge, so come hungry!!!!

    My boyfriend works here and he took me for lunch yesterday. I let him chose what I ate because he knows what’s good and what’s not. He chose chicken enchiladas with green chili and black beans. That was by far the best meal I’ve ever had.

    Every time I have been to the Johnstown Cafe Mexicali, it has been a good experience. The food is great and everyone is friendly. Tonight our power was out so we couldn't cook. I called and placed a to go order 20 minutes before closing, knowing it would take about 20-25 minutes to get there. They were still willing to take my order and let me in after closing to pick it up. Having worked in food service before, I know how annoying it is to wait on someone after close. The gal on the phone, Bree, was super nice. The guy at the register and the manager were both very gracious. Our food was delicious even at the end of the night. Thanks to the wonderful staff who are always friendly and kind!
