Be aware they have a large population of healthy rattle snakes here during warmer months, and I cant recommend taking your dog there unless the temps stay below 50 degrees. I love running here, the trails are rocky and be difficult, but that's part of what I love about it.

(June 12, 2019, 1:45 pm)Beautiful hike near Loveland! After a couple of days hiking on some snowy trails in Rocky Mountain National Park, Devil's Backbone Open Space trails were a nice change for some sun, desert flora, greenery, and rocky cliffs. Definitely recommend!
