good park, needs more camping spots. marina, fishing, boat ramp, swim beach, family activities, overall great little spot not far off the beaten path
Perfect for camping, fishing, boating, swimming or watching sunrise and sunsets. Well maintained and policed. Conveniently located. Reasonable usage fees. Rent out the Pavilion for large groups - FANTASTIC facility.
We have been frequenting the park for several years with our boat. Boating is great with the South end of the lake designated to skiing, surfing, tubing, etc. There is a designated swim area with a beach, bathrooms, food, and non-motorized water activities, and a second beach further North on the lake. The campground is clean and well kept. The marina includes friendly staff and boats/jet skis for rent. With the quick access from Loveland, Fort Collins, Windsor, Greeley and more, it is a great place for a short trip to get away.
And I spoke with quite a bit to do. It does include a boat ramp and beach areas. We definitely enjoyed camping in the time on the lake! The bathroom entire house is very nice. Only complaint is the showers are quarter operated.
Great place to spend the day boating fishing jet skiing or swimming. There are beaches designated for swimming and jet skiing. Lots of beach to use. Facility is always clean. DOW friendly and knowledgeable. Staff at marina is superb. A bit crowded on weekends. Get there early in the am to launch boats and skis.
