“Cozy place to stay but it needs air conditioning. Wouldn't of rented here if we would of known ahead of time that there was no air conditioning. Beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains.”

“We were greeted and checked in by a very friendly woman. Right off that bat I was happy by that. If you purchase fire wood from them they will drop it off at your site. The price to stay here is very good. The bathrooms and showers are extremely well kept. $2 for 6 minutes to shower. I’m good with that! There is a sink to wash dishes outside the restroom and a storage locker to keep all your food at each site. The only downside to this campsite is there is not much privacy. There are a lot of sites right next to each other.”

“ My husband and I could not have been more blessed with the time spent at Awestruck the last week of October 2015. We stayed for three nights and found the location, views, and home amazing. Throughout the entire home are some of the best wildlife photos I have ever seen as well as unique decor for Colorado. One evening we decided to stay at the house and cook dinner ourselves. We were so impressed with the seasoning, appliances, and everything we needed . Wow The hot tub, jacuzzi, fireplace, washing machine with detergent, as well as a welcome call when we arrived made us feel so welcome. The master bedroom's closet is amazing. We have stayed in many rental homes throughout the United States and "Awestruck" is the best. We wish that we could give it 6 stars. Just seeing 40 or more elk each day in the park and in downtown Estes Park was a treat for us. The last day we were there , it snowed and capped the mountains all around us. What a sight!!! We do suggest if you are traveling to Awestruck in the late fall or winter that you have an all wheel drive vehicle.”

“This place was great ! It was like staying in a million dollar home. Great craftsmanship and nicely decorated. Pictures online don't do it justice. Sat out on the deck for several hours enjoying the scenery and rewarded with a herd of deer walking by. Breakfast fit for a king. Definitely book this place.”

“Really great hike. It is a long uphill climb, but really nice views and great for the body and mind to get out there and do it.”

“It is not the nicest hotel but its clean. The service was nice and understanding. We stayed for 5 days. Unfortunately the pool was not able to be used. They apparently couldn't get the pool heater or ph figured out. Said it was because it snowed. But it was pretty nice each of the days. Hot tub was nice and some good jets. Beds were not that bad.”

“There's an awesome park attached to this school next to the lake. It's a great stop right before or after going through the mountains to let the kids run free a bit. There's also a path around the lake.”

“We had a fantastic stay at this KOA, the owners were very friendly as well as the staff. Our kids enjoyed the playground, the toy cove, and the tractor ride with bubbles every night. We even had to borrow equipment to help us reach the water and outlets because ours wouldn’t, no additional charge. We rode horses next door to the KOA, walked across the street and went fishing at Estes Lake. Great location to the entrance of the Rocky Mt. National Park. We will definitely be back.”

“They’re doing a nice job restoring the park after the flood. Just miss what it was. Seems like it’s more woodland than manicured garden. Miss the beaver pond. It is what it is. The river carved a new space.”
