“This is an older motel, but the manager is top notch... He and his wife are doing a better job than I could in their position... I've read the other reviews, and must say that folks staying here tend to mind their own business, and are very helpful... The maintenance guy not only fixed my stereo, but went above and beyond by helping to wire and mount my solar system... I will return just for the quality of work and the work ethics... I recommend asking for anything you need, because folks are going to to help with whatever you need..”

I tried the sweet potato fries and they were incredible, and I don't even like sweet potatoes. Let's talk about the Cinnamon roll, it was the best Cinnamon roll I have ever had in my life. I'll definitely make the drive again, if even just for that.”

“I love stopping here. There is a lot of parking for trucks and it's easy to get in and out of. It's a little difficult to get back on I-25 though. Northbound has construction and southbound has to be reached by using the service road, then crossing over the interstate. Kind of a pain in the a$$. BUT one thing they have there that makes up for all that (at least partially) are these chili cheese dogs on the roller grill. They aren't your everyday, usually messy, chili dogs. Oh no, these are hot dogs with chili and cheese, wrapped in a corn tortilla. You can eat them with your hands! They also have "to die for" cinnamon buns. For me, they are good. But the bar for great cinnamon rolls was set along time ago, in high school. There was a cook there who made the most amazing cinnamon buns. I have never tasted anything like them anywhere else. But that was a long time ago and the world has moved on.”
