  I recently stayed at the cabin. I didn't want to leave. The cabin is rustic and offers an authentic mountain getaway but it has all of the modern conveniences that you would want or need. The cabin is comfortable, funky, and just plain cool. You could spend the day just sitting by the stream and relaxing. We did short hikes during the day while we were there, which were so beautiful. I would recommend this cabin for a night or a week. It's so peaceful, yet it's only 1 hour from Denver, and 15 minutes from the supermarket and other conveniences. I can't wait until I can visit again! Thank you!

  Really enjoyed staying here- the place has a cool rustic, hip luxury vibe
  We rode motorcycles from Denver - taking backroads mostly instead of just hwy 285- stunning river views with amazing huge rock formations and lots of great twists and turns
  The outdoor hot tub on the stream is a perfect way to decompress from city life
  Inside the main cabin is larger than expected and a great place to chill, cook and enjoy cocktails
  The wrap around deck is another great environment for relaxing
  There is also a vintage airstream type trailer and cool micro house for extra guests
  We loved this place and highly recommend for a unique getaway

  As great a mountain cabin experience as we've ever encountered. James, the owner, has created a truly beautiful and unique cabin, at the end of civilization and the beginning of the natural world (a short walk to Pike National Forest).
  Couldn't recommend this place more.

  Gorgeous cabin! Perfect setting to relax and get away, I'm planning on coming back very soon. .

  We loved this place! It was everything we imagined staying in the mountains would be.....The forestry surrounding it along with the beautiful streams allowed us to see so many birds and small wildlife. And it was great hiking and sledding when we stayed the second time last winter. The owner had the place clean and comfy! It’s a fun place to stay and we give it five stars without question!
