  Stayed in a tipi for one night ! Greeted with friendliest and most enthusiastic welcome. Couldn’t fault the hospitality.
  
  Not the sites fault, but there were a lot of mosquitos - I mean we were in the middle of a Colorado forest - so just recommend to bring some strong deet along.
  
  Were given marshamallows for the campfire later.

  Our group of 10 stayed in 2 tipis and a 1 wagon; spaced nearby each other but far enough away for privacy. The tipis were very huge and gorgeous inside!, for example, a group of 5 could easily sit in front of the beds to play cards. For each tipi site, there was a new, large gas grill with a side burner, a picnic table and a bear-safe cabinet to safely store food. In the center of the site sits a giant fire pit surrounded with Adirondack style chairs for large group gatherings, ample wood supplies to keep the bonfire fed and a variety of nearby outdoor games for entertainment. This giant fire pit is where we spent most of our time. Beside the fire pit in the morning, a hot kettle of coffee with half and half and all the accompaniments were waiting for us. I was really surprised by this!
  
  There is also a 4 star quality indoor lodge if you want a different type of experience. We did tour it (gorgeous, modern) but stayed outside - glamping.
  
  Remember to bring bug spray if you go now (July) and shade hats since there isn’t much shade out at the site. Also you will need plenty of ice for your coolers. But if you do forget something or need more, there are stores about 10-15 minutes away.
  
  Now the only remaining problem is this - we have raised our family’s camping standards BIG time and no one will want to stay at a regular camping site ever again. Fine with me!!
  
  Highly recommended glamping experience - far exceeded all expectations!

  This was such an adorable experience. Everything was so thought out and the owner was extremely kind and helpful during our stay. We booked a stay December 1st which was an extremely cold night but will be visiting again in the Spring/Summer days to get a full experience of the place. We grilled, had a nice fire in the community tipi, stayed in one for awhile then moved to a bunker which was just as great. I highly recommend this place!
