(February 5, 2019, 3:55 pm)I have never had such an experience purchasing a car as I did with Alex and his team! I flew in from California to purchase an E30 Touring. I was picked up at the airport and taken to the location of the car where we inspected it well and did the paperwork. It was very easy and a pleasant car buying experience! I purchased one of my dream cars and will definitely be returning to Glen Shelly to purchase another one of my dream cars.

Having sold a car through them on consignment, I realize how truthful and detailed they are in advertising the cars they sell. They do so as thoroughly, honestly, and with the most detail, possible. That being said, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase a car from them, either - knowing that they vet any and all issues, and remediate any which are apparent prior to sale, with their vehicles. Rest assured they are a well-informed, honest, and strong team to deal with.
(August 25, 2018, 1:03 pm)'d been on a search for my ideal car and headed down plenty of dead ends. It's really tough finding that perfect combination of utility, efficiency, and and entertaining driving dynamics. The more I researched, the more I became a fan of the BMW E30 wagons but, like usual, what I desired turned out to be unobtainium - until I stumbled on Glen Shelly's site. I contacted Alex by phone and soon realized he was an enthusiast of the highest order. The kind of enthusiast that appreciates that 'high performance' doesn't just mean 1/4 mile times and g-forces, but also describes a car fits the drivers desires AND needs.
Over the course of months, Alex and I worked out a deal on my dream e30 but ironically, just before pulling the trigger on the project, both Alex and I (in tandem) decided that, all things considered, it wasn't going to be the right thing for me. That was a tough one for both of us but I have huge respect for Alex putting his customer's best interests first!
Since then I've discovered the wonderful "90's BMW 318ti, found a sweet '98, and am very happy! Even though I didn't buy it from Alex he was instrumental in advising me and has been very helpful sharing his knowledge on this wonderful little car that we're both enthusiastic about. I will definitely be working with Glen Shelly Auto Brokers if I ever decide to step up to the next level. '88 Porsche 911? A fella can dream can't he?
(August 21, 2018, 6:48 am)I bought a 1995 Porsche 993 from Glen Shelly a couple of months ago. I live in North Carolina so I dealt with Alex by phone and e-mail initially and he was very helpful and answered all my questions and gave advice as well. Alex and his crew are extremely knowledgeable car guys, not only BMW's which I would say is their specialty but Porsche and other high end performance cars. I flew out to Denver to look at the car and 3 weeks later flew out again. They picked me up at the airport and had the car spotless and ready to go when I got there. Just a great experience all the way around for me and I would not hesitate to recommend Glen Shelly. It's a unique business in a unique location. I've dealt with some great BMW, Porsche and Mercedes shops over the years and I put these guys at the top of my list.
(June 28, 2018, 12:07 pm)Bought a lightly used M240i from these guys. The car is great--better than described--and the whole buying experience was cool. No used car salesman BS. I dealt with Alex from the beginning. Very responsive and knowledgable. You won't be disappointed!
