We first met Pam (Mrs. Carter) when our son was put on an IEP through a public school in second grade. She was such an incredible teacher to start us through the process of what was next for our son being in the special education system. Pam sparks our child's interest and knows how to incorporate her passion and energy into learning programs and interactions for our son.

Pam's caring nature lets a child know that they can accomplish learning in their own way with tools that help them. She is so great at knowing that not all kids learn the same and that it's ok. She helps come up with different ways for a child to learn, engage and socialize with peers as well as adults that leads them to understand themselves.

Pam has become a part of our family and we never skip an opportunity to have all our children be apart of her activities and programs. The perspective and knowledge Pam can share to help us grow as a family with the needs of our son has changed out lives and allowed us to better support his growth in the public school system as well as outside activities. She is always helpful and willing to offer guidance and perspective in anyway she can! She is honest, caring, loving and dedicated to our son and our family, she is really one of the best at what she does.

Pam creates a safe, comfortable, and fun learning environment for children and takes the time to build a relationship with each unique child and family to develop solutions from the child's perspective. This child-centered focus provides a child the opportunity to develop his or her own coping strategies and teaches them how to take on a part of the responsibility to find solutions that work for them and ones they can apply throughout their life. Pam is an amazing behavior specialist and one that I would highly recommend to all types of families and children!

Pam Carter is an amazing behavior specialist. She works with kids who have a hard time meeting adults' expectations by getting to know what the world is like through their eyes and helping them be their own advocates. Kids trust her and let her into their hearts right away and that is key to helping kids feel confortable enough to start having conversations that lead to problem solving.
