Frederick Police Department

Through my roommate's experiences with the Frederick Police Department over a matter that is still ongoing, I am very impressed. We do not live in Fredrick, CO., however, my (2) roommates have an issue with a business in Fredrick so they were called. The FPD have handled my roommates' issue with respect, professionalism and efficiency. If my roommate, who was accepted to a CO PD Academy (Covid-19 stalled his plans) is impressed with them... That's worth mentioning. I may repost a shortened review after the case is closed.

I used Frederick Police department's Vacation Watch and was pleasantly surprised at how thorough a job they did. I thought they would just drive by my house once in a while but they actually came up to the house to ensure that there were no signs of a break-in. Probably another reason Frederick is the safest city in Colorado!

Gotta give a shout out to Frederick PD. Made a call about construction trash from Richmond that had been collecting in a retention ditch for the last six months to building dept, they referred me to the PD who called then sent an officer out. I'm amazed how fast he was. Anyway, it was enough Richmond home builder trash that it filled the back of the police SUV. The office actually went into the overflow ditch, thru the weeds and collected it all himself! He could have just called the builder and told them to fix it. I'm totally impressed and actually wished I would have just done it myself to not trouble the PD with something so trivial. But he was very friendly and really went above what was necessary. Thank you!!!
