Dr. McGuffery is a local guy that supports his community. Great customer service and works well with children. Highly recommended.
I broke the bonding off my two front teeth and I was very anxious to get them fixed. Along with a lot of people, I am not a big fan of going to the dentist. However, the experience from scheduling an appointment to the procedure was AWESOME!! The staff members are friendly and helpful. At the appointment, I informed Dr. McGuffey of my dental anxiety and he put me at ease by letting me know what to expect and answered the questions I had about the procedure. He is very caring professional and my teeth look absolutely fabulous!!! Thank You!!!
Dr McGuffey does excellent work and he explains the procedures in a way that I understand. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly.
A friend recommended McGuffey Bear Tooth Dental and I decided to try it out based on 3 things: the very informative website with helpful videos, they take my insurance, and the obvious connection to the city's university, whose mascot is the Bears. I always appreciate businesses that support education and the university!
I've had 3 appointments and they've all been great. The first assessment was gentle, but straightforward. There was no judgement on the state of my teeth (first time at the dentist in....too long) and every single person was polite and helpful. The two deep cleanings I had, root scaling and planing, were done by a dental assistant who did a great job. When she needed a little guidance with anesthesia, Dr. McGuffey was right there to help and make sure everything went smoothly. He also helped diagnose my chronic morning headaches as jaw related, which has changed my treatment plan and my life.
For the first time since high school, I'm proud of how my teeth look and it's all thanks to McGuffey Bear Tooth Dental. I've already recommended them to friends and will continue to go there for treatment. Plus, insurance and payment was an absolute breeze. No confusion, no nightmares.
