I have a very physical and demanding job. Coupled with years of competitive youth and college sports, I have had my share of injuries. I recently injured my shoulder and went to see Austin at Lake Wellness and Physiotherapy and I had a great experience. He was able to pinpoint the cause of my pain and provided me with different corrective exercises to complete on my own time.
I explained to him I did not have a lot of money but he worked with me and showed me what to do on my own and utilized his own app that was very easy to use. I started feeling better after two weeks and now I'm pain free a few months later.
Austin is a PT who cares about his clients and his work product. If your willing to put in the work and follow his programs, you will feel better. I would definitely recommend Lake Wellness and Physiotherapy and know I could use them again if I ever needed to.
Austin's personalized approach to pain is invaluable. I've seen other physical therapists who tried one-size-fits-all treatments that left me frustrated and still struggling with hip pain. Austin takes the time to really evaluate your issues and has a holistic approach that will get even further to the root of your problems.
Austin helped me overcome a long term ankle injury that affected my knee and hip because of compensation. He is a professional who looks at all around health to help treat an injury. He is very thorough in his treatment plan and very knowledgable while understanding how to treat one. I wasn't able to run for about 9 months until I saw Austin for a number of appointments. I now feel confident to pursue running like a once did, and after consulting with austin I feel I can protect myself against future injury. I couldn't recommend him more. Stellar guy!
Austin was able to help me recover from some hip and knee pain (& lack of full range of motion) as I was training for my first half marathon. I started seeing him a couple of weeks in to my training, and was able to continue my training for 10 weeks, and run the race without any of the issues I started with. Austin is knowledgable, helpful, and provides excellent care to help you feel better long term. Just good therapy for better quality of life!
Such a great experience. I was having severe knee pain, and Austin took the time to not only assess what the cause was and help ease the condition, but also took me through stretches and exercises that I can do at home to treat pain that has lasted for years. He was incredibly thorough, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere was also calming, not clinical. Highly recommend!
