It's a great place located on the outskirts of longmont, making it feel like it's actually far from any city, but is 5-10 minutes driving time from just about anywhere in or around longmont making it a great place.

(November 14, 2018, 10:59 pm)This is an excellent place to practice an open water swim if that is your thing! They host them every Saturday in the summer months. Wetsuits are nice but not necessarily needed

(August 4, 2018, 6:42 pm)Big Lake. Paddle boarding available all over the whole lake which is cool. No charcoal grills or charcoal of any kind I guess. Get there early if you want a table anywhere near the swim Beach. Sand is very Rocky and rough. Parking lot is a little ways away from the swim Beach also but you can pull up and unload where the boat and paddle board parking is.

(July 12, 2018, 7:01 pm)Pretty awesome place. Not expensive like Boulder Reservoir and lots of space. Good parking. Mid-week, you can't go wrong here. Swimming area and lots of good paddling and boating. Great for kids!
