  Beautiful place to take the kids and let them go wild, on bikes at the bike park or let the little ones play on the playground. Great spot!

  Beautiful park for a peaceful walk. Lots of wildlife rustling around & scenic views in every direction

  My wife and I love walking the trails here. It's quiet, peaceful and close to Saint Vrain Creek, where you might glimpse wildlife, so be sure to have a camera handy.
  
  Above the cliffs is an overlook of the Sandstone Ranch, the Saint Vrain Creek, and the Rocky Mountain range.
  
  My wife and I love those cliffs so much, we got married there in 2008, and had the reception in the shade of the big trees beside the ranch.

  I love this place! They have 2 shelters you can rent all day near the playground. There is a bigger shelter up on the hill that you can rent hourly. Go visit the homestead or walk the trails. So much to do here

  Despite being outside of Longmont, I find a trip to Sandstone--where my recreation is to stroll with my service dog--is worth the time and distance. The size of the property offers such a variety of routes as to accommodate the shortest or longest walk I could want, on terrain from sidewalk to dirt road to groomed gravel trail. Off the beaten path is opportunity to see wildlife large and small. I've explored every pocket I can and I feel it's a beautiful, clean, safe place for people--and dogs--to spend some downtime.
