Though my husband was only under the care of Halcyon for a few months last year, the impact this organization has had on me and my family is huge. They provided home equipment for my husband in less than a day so he could come home for his last days and retrieved it the day he died at our request. After his death I benefited from private counseling from a wonderful person whom I now count among my friends. She even includes me in weekly grief hikes and group sessions though I am nearly two years into my new life. I cannot say enough good things about Halcyon.
Discussing Hospice and Palliative Care services can be one of the most difficult things to do. However, the team at Halcyon makes it so easy with their compassionate approach, quick response to families, and taking as much time as needed with loved ones. I'm grateful to work alongside the Halcyon professionals when we serve a mutual patient!
Working in Social Services in a Long Term Care facility I couldn't recommend Halcyon more. I saw someone from this company on a daily basis, whether it was their Care Coordinator, Nurse, Social Worker, or CNA's. The quality of care they provided to the residents in my facility constantly exceeded my expectations and it is the company I will choose for my family members when it comes time for that. The staff is more than willing to provide education on end of life cares, and is extremely compassionate with family members and help them through the grieving process. If you are needing a hospice company to take care of your loved one, this is the company to go with!
We used Halcyon for home hospice. When the doctors, hospitals, medical equipment companies all underperformed during my families tough time, the individuals who make up Halcyon were exceptional.
