“Great museum for Colorado Music! The museum has a whole room for John Denver, a must see for any John Denver fan. It is housed in a historic trading post building. They are even still adding to the museum. I always enjoy visiting the Trading Post.”

“My family (4 kiddos ages 8-2) had a great time at the Polar Express at the Colorado Railroad Museum. Very enthusiastic and engaging actors, hot chocolate, cookies, Christmas songs, short train ride, visit with Santa and the kids got a souvenir bell as well. Tickets were a bit expensive, but I would definitely do this again next year. Thank you, our family had a great and memorable time!”

“I highly recommend coming to the Dinosaur Ridge after Red Rocks. I parked near the visitor center and walked the closed road around the ridge to the other side. The walk is not very long and there are various sites the entire length. Obviously the main attraction are the fossilized foot prints, they are very well preserved. I really enjoyed all the other sites as well, the water ripples, alligator tracks, fossilized bones, ash, and the indentations. Some areas you can really see the geologic layers and can only think of what will be found next. Due to the variety of fossils, preservation and the rich geology, Dinosaur Ridge is one of my favorite locations in Colorado.”

“Nice place we had no idea was even here. The lady that works there was very helpful and answer all our questions and she knows a lot of stuff about what they are offering at this location and over the ridge close to the highway. We bought some knickknacks and the price was not bad. If you want to see where the dinosaurs walked millions of years ago you should visit.”

“A nice little musuem that warrants a once or twice go to. Knowledgeable staff that take you through a VERY interactive and kid friendly tour of fossils of dinosaurs and foot prints. Also, allows the opportunity for you to "help" uncover a fossil. Enjoyed the mixture of current alive non-extinct animals such as turtles and snakes. Overall, great small trip to do when looking for indoor places to explore on a sleepy weekend.”

“Great local park to walk the dog. People are generally cool with the concept of the verbal leash. Great place to engage in pleasant conversation with other dog owners. Did I mention your dog will love you all the more after a visit here.”

“Absolutely amazing collection of restored antique cars. They have a running Stanley Steamer! Many of the show cars have won national competitions. I really wished we could see more of the engines, undercarriages, and suspensions - you can't judge a book by it's cover. I've never read Clive Cussler, but it's pretty cool that some of the cars, and the boat, are featured in his books.”
