He took a ton of time with us as we perused the rocks and gems, telling us about each one, what to look for in them, where they are from, interesting attributes. It was fascinating and so fun. We left with some seriously gorgeous pieces, and a ton of information. It was relaxed, so low key and zero pressure. Just lots of information and beautiful stones. She has inspired Jessi to play at a level that we never would have imagined 2 years ago and now she is playing a variety of music from classical to rock and especially loves playing blues. Bonnie has taught her improvisation as well as the fundamentals of sight reading. We have never had to ask Jessi to practice. She enjoys the piano so much, she just sits down and plays at least a little bit every day. We attribute Jessi’s level of interest to the way Bonnie teaches and interacts with her students.
