“I have been to 4 quilt shops total since I moved to North Carolina and this one by far has the friendliest customer service, wide variety of fabric and everything was clearly marked with prices including the sewing machines! Even other customers were excited to share about the classes they were taking or projects they were working on. The owner took 30 minutes out of her time to sit and talk to me about starting an embroidery business knowing that I wasn't going to buy a machine. I never felt pushed! They offer classes, have the biggest selection of bernina sewing machines, and they do long arm quilting right in the shop. I wish I lived closer so I could go to every class and be a part of the family atmosphere they have to offer.”

“Habitat is getting better not by much but there is an improvement, it looks cleaner, the items have more organization. The staff has always been super nice, general pricing is okay. With the exception of the "upscale" area where the prices are laughable. Currently they have many donated items from "Home Goods" store which is great. I haven't uncovered a gem here for resale in years but it's good for cheap personal home decor items. I wouldn't buy clothes here...creeps me out.”
