“Great view, the guide was super nice and knowledgeable. First let me say it kind of annoys me that the zoo doesn’t tell anyone about this place or advertise in anyway. If you buy a ticket for the Zoo you can pass through the gate to go to the Shrine. If you have 4 people in the car you have to have 4 Zoo tickets though. Also your Zoo ticket is good for 2 weeks to go to the Shrine. I wish i knew that before buying one on Monday and again on Thursday. The Shrine is very well cared for, they maintain the road up even in the winter months. There are clean restrooms in the building in the parking lot. The drive up is not scary just go slow and watch for cars coming around the narrow corners. The view is so cool! Ask the guide questions, it was so great chatting and learning from him. He pointed out all the sights that have plaques and explained a lot to me. It’s called the Shrine of the Sun because it is the first point the sun hits as it raises and the last thing as it sets. So cool. The stairs are not bad at all, there is a landing at each level to pause if you need to go slow and catch your breath. The shrine plays music every 15 mins and a whole song at certain hours each day. Such at fun little thing to do if you are already at the Zoo, don’t miss it.”

Diana Kidd, PT is my physical therapist and hands down the best I’ve seen. When I ask questions she answers them, but it’s not a quick text book answer like all the other physical therapist I’ve seen and I walk out feeling my questions were not totally answered. “In Florence you got three options for fuel; East end Shell - a good option, West end Shell - a very limited option, and then there's the Loaf N' Jug - another good option right in the middle. It is right next to the only Carls Jr. in Fremont County - a not-distinguished honor but a landmark none the less. This gas station is mostly run by a man named Art - just about the nicest guy in Fremont County. Art runs a tight ship - the place is always clean and picked up. The pumps don't look like they've survived the Apocalypse, the floors inside are clean and the cashiers seem pretty astute - very fast. If you are going to be looking at Motorcycles at Fremont Motor Sports next door and need a libation this place is convenient to you. They have diesel at this gas station too so that is another reason to stop. Only 66% of the gas stations in Florence have diesel - scientific fact.”

“Don's replaced countertops in three bathrooms as well as our kitchen. We're very happy. We worked with Kevin getting quotes (he had to meet with us several times because we kept changing our minds) and he was very helpful in providing advice. Troy did or supervised most of the work and he is excellent and very particular about the work he does. I'm picky and I was very impressed. None of our countertops were level before Don's arrived but they are now perfectly level. They have some amazing equipment and their showroom is well worth a visit. If you get to see their cutting machine you'll enjoy that as well. We're still putting things back in place so things are a mess. Hopefully the photos will help, in spite of the mess.”
