  Overall this is a nice supermarket and Big Y has impeccable service. My one issue is the massive door they keep open at all times, the entrance to which they blast heat (winter) or air conditioning (summer). Apparently it's to give the place the vibe of a farmer's market but wow, truly some end-of-Roman-times waste. No doubt they pass the cost on to the customer, and it's just a very anti-green way to operate.

  One of the more successful local chains of grocery stores. They have good prices on everday items and regularly have sales on lots of things i need like meat and produce. They also have a promotion using little silver and gold coins which you can "spend" on discounts. Gold coins give deeper discounts than silver and the savings can be significant. Big y also has a prepared food section which includes a bakery, a sandwich shop, and a pizza oven. If you're putting together a huge get together and need to serve dozens of people, big y's massive party pizzas are the way to go. Call ahead if you need more than one so your order will be hot and ready when you need it. The best part is that the pizza is wonderfully inexpensive and is pretty tasty to boot.

  Great place! Bought prepared food for dinner! Was really tasty! People nice.

  Always clean and fully stocked. Further then our local shop rite but worth the trip.

  Good beer selection for a grocery store. You can build your own 6-pack from their selection of single bottles. The store has always been clean and well organized when I have been there.
