The Owner/Director of Danbury Memorial Funeral Home, Confessor Rodriquez did an amazing job from start to finish. He brought us comfort at one of the most difficult times in our lives. He was professional, compassionate and meticulous. We were blessed to have found such a wonderful place to honor my brother's memory.

(July 27, 2018, 9:56 pm)Like many families who find themselves facing a sudden loss, we started the memorial process by screening multiple funeral parlors in the area, until we reached Confessor (Junior) at Danbury Memorial. Confessor was compassionate which made him stand out from the rest. From the first time we spoke to the last meeting we held after all the services were over Junior proved to be genuinely empathetic and exceptionally patient with all our requests. Junior and his staff are highly professional and we were comforted in knowing our mother would be attended to with the utmost respect. We highly recommend Danbury Memorial to friends and relatives who may be going through the loss of a loved one. Junior will walk and guide you through every step of the process.

(May 31, 2018, 3:08 pm)This review is long overdue but needed. My aunt passed away a year ago and to this day, I still think about her beautiful funeral held here. Jr was the most patient person, having to deal with my giant family and our request. For about a week straight, I was in constant contact with Jr, changing this and that, and he never complained once. The funeral home itself is great. It's clean and doesn't feel like death. Other funeral homes in the area look weathered and worn down. The best part about the funeral home is that it holds one service at that time. This means that you're not having to share the space with other grieving families. The service was beautiful and tailored to our Buddhist rituals. Before my aunt was cremated, we were able to lay flowers around her casket. It looked more like she was sleeping in a bed of flowers and it was a beautiful way to send her off. I can't say enough good things about this funeral home and the service speaks for itself.
