  It has alot of history about the railroad and a yard full of engines and cars you can check out. The museum/station(which was built early 1900s) itself has a lot of cool artifacts..They also have a turntable and pump house you can check out as you take a quick ride on a small track. We enjoyed ourselves. I thought the mail train was the coolest. We would definantly recommend. Its good for all ages.

  Really fun place to bring kids. They had such a good time. The staff is great and are very knowledgable about trains. Its a good time

  Kids loved the model railroads and exploring real trains. Train ride wasnt great but only cost $3. Best part of the train ride was seeing the working turntable from 1913.

  A must visit place if you are in the Danbury area with kids.Lots to learn for kids. They have working models, a lot of exhibits for kids and adults both. There is a train ride as well where u can can either take tickets for sitting in the coach or locomotive. The locomotive can seat only 2. On the way you see the yard and a locomotive turntable. This place definitely needs money and volunteers for the upkeep and to preserve the history for the future generations.Check out the wooden whistle in the gift shop.
