Mather's grave is simple and does not make any mention of his federal service. Plaques in national parks across the US state "there will never come and end to the good he has done." The grave is in Mather's family plot not far from the home he lived in. Plan to park on the small side road next to the cemetery. There is no parking lot or sign to direct you.”
